Middle School String and Wind Ensembles
- String ensemble rehearsal is held every Monday from 5:30-7:30 PM.
- Requirements:
Option 1. (preferred) A video with 1-2 min solo and a 2 octave scale shifting preferred.
Option 2. A letter of recommendation from a private teacher stating that the student can play 2-octave scales with shifts. - *Please upload your video submissions to YouTube or Vimeo and forward the link in an email to isaac@heightsfoundation.org.

- Wind Ensemble will meet every Wednesday from 4-5:30 PM.

Katrina Rozmus, MOSAIC Advanced Strings Ensemble Conductor
Katrina Rozmus is an accomplished violinist and violist based in Southwest Florida. She holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in violin performance, having studied primarily under Andrés Cárdenes, former concertmaster of the Pittsburgh Symphony. Ms. Rozmus’s career includes several years in Mexico, where she served as assistant concertmaster of the Yucatán Symphony and principal second violin of the Sinaloa Symphony Orchestra. During her time in Sinaloa, she also taught music theory and private lessons at a distinguished middle and high school. Upon returning to the United States, she became the Strings Director and Head of the Music Department at Cypress Lake Center for the Arts (2010–2014). In June 2016, she led the Saint Augustine Music Festival Chamber Orchestra as concertmaster. Currently, Ms. Rozmus performs with the Naples Philharmonic as a contracted per-service violinist, frequently subs with the Sarasota Orchestra, coaches a string quartet with the Southwest Florida Youth Orchestra, and is highly regarded as a violin and viola instructor in the region.
