Meet Our Campers & Support Our Summer Camp

Our Summer Camp provides a safe, positive environment for kids who otherwise have no options. Activities include art projects, computer and reading programs, and guided recreation. Our engaging camp ensures that our community’s most impressionable members are ready to return to school in the fall.

All of the children come from the severely distressed neighborhood of Harlem Heights, most from single parent households. Camp allows parents to have their children cared for so they can go to work and provide for their families.

We are underfunded for this program and are asking you to help us meet our goal of $20,000 to fully fund the 100 kids enrolled. We also hope to add additional children on the waiting list for the opportunity to attend camp in July and August.

Please consider a gift of $100, $250, or $500 in support of the program. A $1,000 gift will fully fund a child for the whole summer, and you will become a Heights Hero. As a Heights Hero you will have special access to events and be able to participate in fun events exclusively for our heroes. There are also opportunities to make a larger gift to support multiple children for the summer.
